I’ve been making some quite rash decisions lately based on a hunch. Nothing major, just getting tattoos and stuff. But I feel really good about these decisions and I feel that ever more increasingly I am beginning to trust my hunches. My latest hunchish decision happened today. Today is the day I became the owner of my second piece of art, real art. It happened by chance, and I feel so so extremely excited and incredibly grateful that such a beauty has fallen into my day.

This art carries the signature of one of my greatest admirees, Jonathan Safran-Foer. He is the author of my favoured book, and of the amazing and beautiful books-as-art-so-cool-you-want-to-eat concept Tree of Codes. So today, the wonderful Visual Editions released some rather special posters. The posters are made from the original first edition die-cut running sheets of Tree of Codes in Belgium, they’re huge, beautiful and full of holes. One year after the book release, the posters have been sourced, marked, shipped to and from Bruges-London-New York and signed by Jonathan. I cannot contain my excitement about receiving my very own. Very soon, and very swoon.
